Jackson fans bid to buy Neverland Ranch
Monday, March 10 2008, 13:22 GMT
By Beth Hilton, Entertainment Reporter
Two British Michael Jackson fans are attempting to buy Neverland Ranch
to save it from being repossessed.
Businessmen Liam Collins and David Bone have launched a £15 million
bid to buy the California estate after the singer fell behind with his
repayments.
The 2,800-acre property will be foreclosed and sold at auction unless
Jackson pays off a £12.5 million debt by March 19.
The Newcastle-based pair have offered Jackson the chance to rent it
back if they are successful.
Bone, 26, told the Daily Star: "We really want to see Jacko back on
his feet. He's had a real hard time of it."
Collins, 29, added: “If it wasn’t for Michael’s music and his
fantastic dance routines, it is possible that we wouldn’t be where we
are today.”
Both men claimed to have started earning their fortunes by copying
Jackson's moves while busking in London.

No true - religiously obsessed women, or overly self-centered women

Au contraire, I would figure precisely lonely men would find her hot.

What male pig stereotype? For liking a cute, well-made-up woman, and

"When fertility clinics become more affordable. Black women will be
standing in line. It will be just like plastic surgery. Everyone laughed
at Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson ..." I guess wacko isn't on the "A" list.
Renowned tennis star, Serena is somewhat a wild cat. She is as wild off
court as she is ferocious on the court. The award winning star is known
also to be quite outspoken and brooks no nonsense. She and her older
sister Venus have become icons ruling the tennis world like colossus.
Serena Williams was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 26, 1981,
but she and her sister were raised in the economically depressed and
often violence-riddled Los Angeles suburb of Compton. Her father Richard
ran a private security firm, and her mother Oracene (who often uses the
name Brandy) was a nurse. A fan of televised tennis, Richard Williams
dreamed of the opportunities that might await his offspring-to-be: “I
went to my wife and said, ‘Let’s have kids and make them tennis
players,’” he told Newsweek. His ambitions went nowhere with the first
three of his five daughters, but Venus, born in 1980, and Serena, the
youngest daughter, showed promise from the start. “Venus and Serena took
to tennis as soon as rackets were put in their hands,” older sister
Lyndrea told Sport magazine.
The sisters’ early training took place on public tennis courts in and
around Compton, where they remember having to duck gunfire. Despite this
difficult beginning, though, their skills developed rapidly. Serena
entered her first tournament at the age of four and a half, and over the
next five years, her father has claimed, she won 46 of 49 tournaments
she entered. She succeeded Venus as the number-one player in southern
California’s highly competitive age-12-and-under rankings, and well
before reaching adolescence both sisters had attracted national
attention in the form of invitations to prestigious tennis camps,
promises of lucrative product-endorsement deals, and glowing newspaper
reportage.Although known for antagonizing her fellow players, Serena’s
brash confidence, charisma, and impressive physical appearance made her
attractive to the advertising departments of major corporations, and she
signed a deal worth roughly $12 million with the Puma sporting-goods
concern. An intelligent and energetic teenager with interests in many
fields outside of tennis, she hopes to become a movie star in time— she
could contemplate many different paths when thinking about her future.
In this interview culled from the internet, Serena in her usual brash
manner opens up on the status imbalance between the African American men
and their women. To her, having attained supper stardom there are very
few men from her race who can meet up to her standard. White men, she
says make the best men.
Now, many Nigerians especially, men will not agree with Serena’s views,
for indeed we do have great potentials in our men. But then, Serena is
not a Nigerian. Reactions to Serena’s views are welcomed.
Enjoy.
Ms. Williams we are all interested in your new boyfriend.
There is no new boyfriend. I stopped playing with boys when I stopped
dating black guys. I have a new man in my life and yes, he’s white.
So you prefer to date white men instead of black guys?
Let’s be real. If you are a successful black female you only have two
choices:date outside of your race or date other successful black
females.
Are you saying there are no successful black men to date?
Of course not but let’s face it, if Oprah would date outside of her race
she would be married with children now. The state of most black men is
so low the only thing you can do is love them. Like a poor homeless dog.
You can’t expect it to protect you. You can only offer shelter and love
and watch as our neighbor’s pit bull protects his home and family. I,
unlike Oprah, am not forced to stay within those boundaries. I was born
into a new generation of black women.
So Oprah is being forced to date Stedman?
All I can say is when you find a successful black women who is not
married and does not have children it is because they refuse to accept
the two choices. Some may go as far as marriage to a black guy but they
realize divorce is inevitable so they do not have children. Or they have
children with one and don’t marry in order to preserve their wealth and
good credit. Oprah is one of many who silently protests being stuck
withsuch poor choices by refusing to marry and reproduce but you can see
how much it hurts her. She’s always giving away money to children’s
charities. I hope she makes the choice to marry a non-black soon so she
can have a child of her own.
But you have decided to accept the two choices?
Yes. I grew up in California around the two extremes of wealth. If I
could only get myself to try the bisexual thing I would have been much
happier in my relationships. Instead I dated Black men, I loved many of
them but they were just not suitable for marriage. Many of them were
raised by women and had warped mentalities. So, I finally had to date
outside my race. When I moved to Miami, I accepted my status and date
men on my level.
What do you mean by warped mentalities?
Well, where do I begin? Many of them were raised predominantly by women
and had this feminine/bisexual complex. Where they wanted to be treated
like a female sometimes. For example, I would have the money & they
would have the sex. I would teach them things. You know, all the things
a woman likes a man to do, I would end up doing for them. Then if we
would get into an argument, there would be a role reversal. All of a
sudden, they would be the man wanting the respect of a king in his
castle. Black men over the years have become less and less of value to
black women both rich and poor. I predict in 10 years they will be
obsolete. Now they serve little to no function and what little they can
do, they don’t want to do.
Why 10 years?
That’s when going to a fertility clinic to get impregnated by a sperm
donor will become as common and accessible as the flu shot. Women who
want sex will do it with whoever they want (girl, guy, rich, poor,
white, black) and go to the bank (the sperm bank) when they are ready to
have children. Even those who waited (like Oprah) will have fertilized
eggs placed in-Vitro. That’s the day the secret organization of women is
waiting for. The day when men are 100% dis-empowered.
Are you a part of that organization?
No. They’re a mostly white group. Plus that day for black men is
practically here already. Black women are already raising 75% of the
black population without a man. When fertility clinics become more
affordable. Black women will be standing in line. It will be just like
plastic surgery. Everyone laughed at Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson but it’s becoming
so popular now, that even poor blacks are getting work done...mostly
breast reductions and liposuction.
So do you want men to be dis-empowered?
Heck, no! That’s why I am with a white man now. I want a man to be a man
and I am not going to settle for less just to stay within racial
boundaries. A Black man in my position wouldn’t do it so why should I.
Don’t get me wrong, I love black men. My father is black, I have dated
black men all my life, and if I have a male child he will be part black.
But my husband and I will raise him together so hopefully he will be a
worthy choice for a worthy black female. Not the only choice, or
“there’s nothing better out there so I’ll settle for this choice. When
you are successful you want the best. The best food, clothes, places to
live etc. I want the best man also.
And you think the best man is a non-black man?
I think if there’s a better choice for me, God would have shown me. I
am in the public so I get to meet lots of people from all over the world
athletes, celebs, etc. I am wealthy so I am invited and have traveled to
the most prestigious events all over the world. Out of all those people,
places and events....I had to choose the right man for me. Like it or
not (with very few exceptions) a white man is the only real choice for a
successful black female.

Very weak point.
His acquittal had nothing to do with attitudes about sex. It had everything
to do with proof that the accuser had no credibility. If they weren't proven
to be shakedown artists there would have been a very different result. The
mother clearly was a welfare cheat, and in the past had used her son to get
money through false claims of abuse. The boy and mother admitted they had
lied under oath in another court case. They extorted money from celebrities.
Their stories regarding Jackson had many inconsistencies and changed
multiple times.
Two of the jurors said as much... they couldn't convict based on what was
shown at this trial, even if they were suspicious about him. We may never
know the truth about MJ's interest in children, but we do know that the
accuser and his family were unscrupulous, greedy liars.
You seem to be saying the more serious a crime, the more important it is we
convict the accused, whatever the evidence says. I hope if you should ever
be accused of something that your jury doesn't share this belief.

A disturbing conclusion.
Another valid direction to take your reasoning is that there are a
variety of looks that a man might find appealing. And that rings true to
me. There are many different looks that one man might find attractive,
even more when you consider men as a gender.
Btw, imo Grace Park is not androgynous. I haven't looked at the Maxim
spread (pun intended), but on BSG, I think she's a beautiful young woman
- not voluptuous, but definitely a woman. She's too young for me, but
she's still fun to look at.

Penny, with all due respect, do you have any experience with men and
sex? I mean, personally? Men like sex. All of them. Men are
stimulated by sexually attractive women, (or men), and that is NORMAL.
Men are turned off by fuglys. It's nothing to do with gender politics
or stereotypes. LOL! It's one of Life's more delicious gifts that she
designed them that way. :-) Being the object of a man's desire, and
teasing him until he's ripe for the fall is much of what makes being
young and beautiful so fab.
The point of my initial comment re: this had to do with the androgynous
object that is Grace Park. The gay tong of the media/marketing/fashion
universe has succeeded in changing the ideal feminine form from
voluptuous femininity to what is obviously a rendition of a naked young
teenage male with implants stuck on to conform, (for the moment), to
convention.
In the end, men don't care what form a sexual object takes... as long
as it's beautiful and sexually appealing. God knows the Greeks had it
going on and their art proves how the child-man was revered. And
that's where it's headed today. Why on earth, for instance, would
Michael Jackson be let off unless our society is coming around to the
notion that sex between men and young boys is, if not acceptable, at
least understandable?
I happen to think it's all fucking perverted, but who cares what I
think. I just play the piano. hahahaha to the looney bin with me.

King of Pop fled the country after his acquittal but did anyone care?
COMMENTARY
By Michael Ventre
MSNBC contributor
Updated: 10:08 a.m. PT June 19, 2006
I often wonder what happened to the woman with the doves. If you’ll
recall, when the Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson acquittal was announced one year ago,
one particularly ditzy devotee waiting outside the courthouse released
one dove for each “not guilty” count that was announced. Eventually, she
was left with just an empty cage. Unless she is a dove wrangler for
hire, available for verdicts at all major celebrity trials, I have to
assume she was left with a bittersweet feeling.
Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson was free. But now he’s gone.
Since the acquittal on child molestation and related charges, Michael
has been in the news only sporadically. A dispute over pay involving his
Neverland Ranch employees here, a tussle over child custody with his ex-
wife Debbie Rowe there. Also, there are recent reports that he may marry
his nanny, although those reports have the smell of being nanny-
generated.
Meanwhile, he’s living in the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom of Bahrain,
where there was at least one sighting of Jackson visiting a mall in a
black abaya robe traditionally worn by Bahraini women and a veil
covering his face, with his three kids in tow, all wearing black scarves
covering their faces. It was like spotting a funky offshoot of Hamas out
on a bling fling.
One year later, what does the future look like for Mike?
There has been lots of speculation. Supposedly he is working on a new
album that will be released on 2 Seas Records, a company owned by Sheik
Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the son of Bahrain’s king. Said
Michael in a statement: “I am incredibly excited about my new venture
and I am enjoying being back in the studio making music.” At least we
think it was Michael. It was a guy wearing a black veil.
But is there a market for a new Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson album? When you get past
the dove lady and cuckoo birds like her, there are lots of skeptics out
there. It isn’t just that Michael was accused of — but again, not
convicted of — committing various sordid acts involving underaged boys,
alcohol and pornography, or that he settled a lawsuit for $25 million
that accused him of similar charges with another boy in 1993. It’s that
the American public is suffering from Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson overload, and
folks may not be interested in anything he has to say anymore, musically
or otherwise.
Is he really ‘Invincible?’
Michael’s last studio album was 2001’s “Invincible,” which debuted at
No. 1 on Billboard’s top 200 album chart and sold more than eight
million copies worldwide. But it also received mostly tepid reviews from
critics, who will probably forever hold anything he does up to the high
water mark that was “Thriller.”
But all artists, no matter how gifted, have a creative period where they
do their best work. Paul McCartney is still an attraction, but his best
songwriting days have long past. The same is true of the Rolling Stones.
They and others like them release material that is still worth listening
to, but it isn’t the kind of stuff that stays with you.
Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson'>Michael Jackson is the King of Pop in name only. He’ll be 48 on August
29. He’s through with plastic surgery, or at least he should be, since
he seems to have had every procedure save for breast enhancement. He
can’t moonwalk like he used to. Reunions with his brothers don’t hold
nearly the same fascination anymore.
And the child molestation trial, while it ended in his acquittal, did
not allay fears that Michael may have engaged in behavior that runs
contrary to the traditional American notions of mom, apple pie and
sexual relations between consenting adults. A house full of little boys
and cameras mounted outside the bedroom to ensure privacy is a big red
flag, no matter what the jurors concluded.
The trial established one clear truth: Michael is officially weirder
than LaToya.
Where to now?
He can go anywhere in the world, of course. He can remain in Bahrain and
record albums, although I would advise him to cool it with the little
boys there, or at least keep robes and veils on at all times. Michael
seems to like living with a sheik and with all the trappings of royalty
in Bahrain. It’s like living at Neverland without having to worry about
meeting the payroll every month.
He could return to the United States, but that might be problematic. His
every move would be watched closely by overzealous prosecutors,
unscrupulous paparazzi and would-be gold-digging nannies. He does have
to return to the U.S. to deal with a civil suit filed by Marc Schaffel,
described in news accounts as “a reputed porn producer and would-be
Jackson confidant,” who is seeking $3 million. Jackson’s attorneys filed
a brief that said: “To say that Schaffel is an unsavory character is an
understatement. He is a professional swindler and pornographer with a
long history of dishonest, immoral and manipulative behavior.”
If he does re-establish himself here in the U.S., the first thing
Michael should do is hire a new head of personnel. The people he tends
to surround himself with just don’t seem to be the crème de la crème.
The other option would be for Michael to live somewhere else altogether,
where he could have the privacy he craves. If I were him, I’d buy a
house next door to Tom Sneddon, the Santa Barbara County prosecutor who
banked his career on the Jackson case and lost. He wouldn’t be crazy
enough to go after Michael a second time, would he?
Then the dove lady’s cage wouldn’t feel quite as empty as it does now.

All of MJ's creditors feel bitter...with the exception of Fortress
Investments, who have MJ by the short & curlies (or MJ's ghastly
equivalent) and have been cheerfully giving them a good hard yank
now and again. Hilarity - and much profit - ensues.

Everyone who's discussed MJ's spending habits has said the same.

Schaffel and MJ are both con artists. Schaffel got screwed over by
MJ, and its now payback time. We can pull up chairs and enjoy the
show.

Nobody falls for that crap anymore...except the f'loons.

Oh, ICK. Was Schaffel dressed up in a Little Lord Fauntleroy costume
when MJ professed such love?

He got to do dirty work for the Thing of Pop. He should be honored!

He found suckers who fell for it time and again, too. Schaffel saw
the gravy train and hoped to ride it. In a masterful stroke, MJ
turned the tables and got Schaffel to spend money on him, rather
than vice-versa.
> For his part, Jackson claims that Schaffel defrauded him and hid the

Oh, bull. Schaffel produced gay porn and was renowned for his
ability to pull barely-legal boys. Why do you think MJ hooked up
with him in the first place?

Jackson's lawyer just described his own client.
By the way, this is like the fourth or fifth lawyer MJ has had
representing him on this case alone. They keep quitting because he
never pays them. He's down to hiring the little local law office
types now, who specialize in slip-and-falls and divorces.

Hey, at least he gave it a respectable name, unlike the moniker he
used for his gay porn film business: Sosume Enterprises.

Mundel barely knows the case, much less the players. He's come in
with very little time to prepare - because, again, every one of MJ's
prior lawyers have quit this case.
> He said that Jackson broke all ties with Schaffel in mid-November 2001

That shows how little _he_ knows. Trudy Green, MJ's then-manager,
tried to boot Schaffel when she discovered that MJ had signed
contracts with Schaffel with her knowledge or input. She acted on
her own initiative, not MJ's, since MJ was at that time more
infatuated with Schaffel than he was with Green. Who ended up
getting kicked to the curb? Trudy Green. Not Schaffel. As we all
know, Schaffel was still part of MJ's inner circle in 2003, when he
got involved in the Arvizo situation.
> "Obviously, Mr. Jackson could not afford to be publicly associated
> with a gay pornographer in connection with the release of a record,"
> the lawyer said.
Whyever not? Porn performers and producers are fashionable in the
music industry. And, after all, Schaffel was good enough to
_produce_ the record. Not to mention how we all learned how much MJ
likes his porn.

Oh, Howard, you and Marc had your chance to testify about that and
you passed. It can't harm anything but MJ's reputation, and that's
already destroyed.
> He said that Jackson continued to work with Schaffel well into 2004.
And he can prove it, too.

Typical MJ court tactic. He has a wondefully poor memory for such a
supposedly sharp businessman. Here's some of his past bullshit
dodges under oath:
...The pop star's testimony has been sufficiently short on detail,
however, for a plaintiff's lawyer to ask him at one point if he
suffered from memory loss.
Mr. Jackson replied: "Not that I can recall."

...Many of his answers were puzzling, as he asserted at one point
that he couldn't remember the details of his concert commitments
but then suggested that his memory had in fact become clearer over
time.

Michael Jackson took the witness stand Wednesday in a $21.2 million
breach-of-contract suit accusing him of failing to show up for two
1999 New Year's Eve concerts.
...At one point, asked about a visit to South Africa and a meeting
with Nelson Mandela to promote a charity concert, Jackson said he
couldn't recall it: "I don't want to guess. It could have happened."

Avram's attorney, Louis Miller, sought to point out discrepancies in
Jackson's testimony with what he said the entertainer told him
during a
deposition he gave last June.
At one point he asked Jackson about a phone call he said he received
from Avram canceling the two concerts. Avram maintains the call
never took place.
"I remember being in the bathroom, it was a private call," Jackson
said
when Miller asked where he took the call.
The attorney then pointed out that when he asked Jackson in June
where he had taken the call he told him he wasn't sure.

executives.

Avram's lawyer Louis Miller grilled Jackson and continuously
highlighted differences between his sworn testimony and evidence he
gave on the witness stand.
. . . Then Miller alleged that the star never even rehearsed for the
gigs.
"I conceptualise everything, " said Jackson. "I visualise what I
want the concert to look like.
"I stand in front of a mirror in my bathroom and try out the dance
moves. It's hard work."
... Miller asked Jackson if "all the choreographers, technicians,
backing singers and band" were in his bathroom for the rehearsal.
Jackson said: "I'm not sure. I don't want to guess."

Michael Jackson's finances center of trial
LINDA DEUTSCH
Associated Press
SANTA MONICA, Calif. - A year after Michael Jackson was acquitted of
child molestation charges, a lawsuit by a former associate is headed
for a trial that will put Jackson's chaotic financial dealings in the
spotlight.
The pop star is not expected in court but he will be seen through
videotaped depositions.
"To my knowledge, he's not scheduled for any court appearances," said
Jackson's spokeswoman, Raymone K. Bain. She said that Jackson, who has
been living in Bahrain, is traveling in Europe. He answered questions
twice in depositions in London.
Jackson is being sued by F. Marc Schaffel for $3.8 million in what
Schaffel says are unrepaid loans and expenses, unpaid salary for work
on a charity record and his share of proceeds from two TV specials
that were produced to bolster Jackson's battered reputation after
child molestation allegations surfaced.
Facts involved in Jackson's criminal trial last year are likely to be
revisited when Schaffel testifies about his role in attending to the
family of a boy who claimed he was molested by Jackson.
But most of the witnesses called by Schaffel will be money managers
and business advisers. Jury selection is set for July 26.
Bitter feelings between Jackson and Schaffel are evident in pretrial
briefs.
Schaffel's attorney, Howard King, portrayed the singer as an incurable
spendthrift who sought financial guidance from advisers, then ignored
it.
"Jackson carried no credit cards, wrote no checks, carried no 'walking
around money' and had people attending to his every need," said King's
trial brief. "Jackson hired competent advisers to make business
decisions then frequently ignored the decisions being made and ...
incurred expenses without regard to any rational limits or
accountability, as though funds were endless...."
He maintained that Schaffel was manipulated by Jackson, who cheated
him out of millions.
"Although the public may perceive Jackson as a soft-spoken artist
concerned only about his creative endeavors, the evidence at trial
will show that Jackson is a master at manipulating the people around
him," said the document.
King said Jackson cajoled his advisers with promises of "undying love
as well as great rewards."
"Jackson was a master of assuring his advisers that the success of any
particular plan would ensure that adviser a lifetime position working
for Jackson," said the lawyer. "... However they were frequently
dismissed when Jackson didn't want to take their advice to reign in
his profligate spending or terminate other activities that were
damaging to his image and career...."
For his part, Jackson claims that Schaffel defrauded him and hid the
facts of his allegedly shady past.
"To say that Schaffel is an unsavory character would be an
understatement," Jackson's lawyer, Thomas C. Mundell, said in a
pretrial filing. "He is a professional swindler and pornographer with
a long history of dishonest, immoral and manipulative behavior."
Mundell argued it was Schaffel who convinced Jackson he was the right
person to help the pop star produce and release a charity single
called "What More Can I Give" in 2001. He said Schaffel was entrusted
with handling millions of dollars on Jackson's behalf and keeping
records for Neverland Valley Entertainment, a firm set up by Schaffel.
"This case is deceptively simple," Jackson's lawyer said in his trial
brief. "Stripped to its essentials, it is an accounting case, albeit
one with an overlay of fraud, deception and self-dealing on the part
of plaintiff Marc Schaffel."
Rather than owing Schaffel money, Jackson's lawyer said Schaffel owes
Jackson funds.
He said that Jackson broke all ties with Schaffel in mid-November 2001
when he found out that Schaffel's "other job" was as a producer of gay
pornography.
"Obviously, Mr. Jackson could not afford to be publicly associated
with a gay pornographer in connection with the release of a record,"
the lawyer said.
King said this was part of a "smear campaign" and "mud slinging" which
should not be presented to the jury. Conversely, he suggested that
Jackson would not want Schaffel to testify "with regard to Jackson's
sexual proclivities or intimate details of their conversations."
He said that Jackson continued to work with Schaffel well into 2004.
Jackson's depositions show the singer claimed a poor memory of
transactions involving millions of dollars and said he never met his
business manager, Alan Whitman.
In a bizarre detail, Jackson maintained he got his spending money by
leasing cows that lived on his Neverland ranch. During the deposition
there was this exchange between King and Jackson:
Q. "So all your cash, whenever you need cash to shop or whatever comes
from the cows?"
A. "Yes, believe it or not."
Q. "I don't but that's OK. I don't have to."
A. "I'm telling you."
Q. "OK. So Alan Whitman's office never arranged for you to get cash,
correct?"
A. "Not that I can recall because I don't remember talking to Alan. I
don't think I have ever met him."
In other exchanges, Jackson said, "I'm foggy about what happened."

So Michael Jackson is a Republican pedophile then. Check your fucking

scumbucket and you make the case for yourself too.
