Speaking as an interior designer, I am so tired of these people who,
just because he or she is a celebrity, think that they suddenly have
the skills to take on a major design project. I would love to see
Ashlee Simpson put together to-scale renderings of a room and a design
board. It will probably look as good as she sounds. She probably got
her design experience from watching Trading Spaces and has no sense of
form or function. Same goes for Brad Pitt, who seems to fancy himself
as the second coming of Frank Lloyd Wright. OK, venting mode off. Oh,
and does the uniform designed by the Black Eyed Peas come complete with
pee stains?

HOLLYWOOD - Former Baywatch star Carmen Electra and singer Ashlee Simpson
will try their hand at interior designing by creating suites for the newest
Hard Rock Hotel.
The stars will create themed 'Rock Star Suites' for the Hard Rock Hotel and
condominium development in San Diego, California.
Electra will design a Rock Star Goddess Suite, complete with a heart-shaped
bathtub and a stripper pole, while Simpson will create a Surfer Rock Chick
Suite.
Meanwhile, hip-hop group the Black Eyed Peas will design the uniforms for
the hotel staff.
The suites will be on the market this spring.
Prices for the regular condominiums range from $400,000 to $1.5 million.

an online auction was disqualified - because his offer was so high, she
would have felt obligated to sleep with him.
The former Baywatch star, married to rocker Dave Navarro, recently ignited a
bidding frenzy on the internet auction site eBay.com when fans learned they
could buy the chance to take her out.
But Electra admits the huge amounts of cash being thrown around left her
highly concerned.

Pop star Ashlee Simpson and actress Carmen Electra have offered their
sympathy to Britney Spears, after hearing of her reported marriage problems.
Last weekend, speculation mounted that the Toxic singer's 15-month marriage
to Kevin Federline was over, after the unemployed dancer's Ferrari was towed
away from the couple's Malibu, California, home.
Spears, who gave birth to their son Sean Preston in September, was scheduled
to attend the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, but
cancelled. However, Federline, was seen partying in Sin City.
Backstage at the Billboards, Simpson admitted she was unsure if the reports
were true, but added: "If it's true I wish the best for her. It's sad."
Meanwhile, former Baywatch babe Electra advised Spears to get out of the
marriage quickly if it isn't working.
Electra says: "Sometimes you got to work through it unless you know for sure
it's not working or meant to be. Then move on, don't waste your time."

What do you give as a wedding gift to a millionaire pop star who has
everything? If the bride is Christina Aguilera, you give her the signed copy
of the three-page confidentiality agreement she sent you.
Each of the 150 guests invited to watch the pint-sized pop princess exchange
vows with her music-manager fiance Jordan Bratman in California's wine
country had to hand over the legal document before they were allowed to take
part in the celebrations.
All the guests were sent the contract in a bid to ensure that even the
tiniest detail of the wedding remains secret - although photographers were
camped out at a farmhouse in the Napa Valley from the start of the
festivities on Thursday.
It was prefaced by the revelation that one guest had already attempted to
sell the ornate invitation, contained in a 2ft-wide box filled with flowers,
that announced the marriage.
One guest told The Mail on Sunday it gave a whole new meaning to
'pre-nuptial agreement'.
"You have to sign your life away. It's three pages long. It starts, 'It came
as a great shock to us that one of our guests has been trying to sell their
invitations. We are sorry to have to ask you, our dear friends and honoured
guests, to sign this agreement but we feel it is the only way to ensure the
security of our wedding.î'"
Guests including singer Justin Timberlake - like Christina, a former member
of American television's Mickey Mouse Club - and his film-star girlfriend
Cameron Diaz, as well as actresses Carmen Electra and Drew Barrymore and
musicians Nelly and Pink, were told precisely what they were not allowed to
discuss with 'any third party'.
Banned subjects included the cake, the rings, entertainment, speeches, food,
the venue and other guests. As for the dress, nothing about the train, cut,
colour, designer or material can be revealed.
But The Mail on Sunday can disclose that Christina, 24, flew to Paris to
view the spring couture collection of Christian Lacroix, who designed
Catherine Zeta-Jones's wedding dress.
It included an ornate silk gown with a sheer lace top, a ruched train and a
veil that trailed to the model's waist, with a jewelled belt that might have
appealed to the bling-bling singer.
The tattooed star, who also has a pierced nipple, said recently: "The dress

The bride and groom, who met two years ago, are believed to have chosen the
£2,500-a-night private cottage at the Auberge for their wedding night. The
large cottage features an oversized Jacuzzi, steam shower for two people,
builtin bar and espresso machine.
In February, The Mail on Sunday was the first to reveal that Bratman had
finally proposed to the raunchy star after months of speculation.
Bratman, 27, is a partner in the talent management company Irving Azoff,
which negotiates Christina's lucrative recording and movie contracts.
Christina, who made £20million last year, shot to fame in 1999 with her
breakthrough hit Genie In A Bottle.

Rod Mark, 43, shot himself through the heart last week after losing a
battle with depression.
The tragedy is the latest in a long line of family deaths for Electra -
her mother and sister died within a month of each other in 1998.
The model-turned-actress, who hardly knew Mark, says: "I was sad to
hear the news. My heart goes out to his family."
Electra, whose real name in Tara Patrick, and Mark had different
fathers.
