Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all
other countries because you were born in it. -- George Bernard Shaw
-
Jim,
You asked: "Can someone remind me why anyone gives a crap about this crack
whore?"
My answer was that we should care about her, because God felt that Lindsey
was so important, that He sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ on a cross to pay
for her sins. So that if Lindsey will simply put her trust in what Christ
did for her on the cross, that she will be forgiven of her sins and that she
will have a place in heaven.
In other words, Lindsey mattered to God, just as you matter to God, because
He also gave His Son for you.
Then I continued saying that an article can be written about celebrities
without having to expose their personal battles with drugs. That is
something that Lindsey needs to deal with. I'm an entertainment
correspondent. I have never interviewed Lindsey Lohan. One time I gave her
an award. That's all. But if I did do a story on Lindsey Lohan or any other
celebrity and they revealed to me that they had problems with drugs in the
past, I would never put that in the article. Why would I try to make money
on someone else's problems. I'd rather help them with their problem if I
can. I've been offered a job writing for a gossip magazine and from what I
can tell, it'd pay more than what I currently make, but I turned it down,
even though I know of things that could make me lots of money. It's not
right to be reporting these types of things.
I hope this helped clarify things. If not, please be more specific with your
question and I'd be happy to answer it.

Hollywood hellcat Lindsay Lohan reveals in Vanity Fair’s February issue
what most of her fans suspected for months — that she dabbled in drugs
and suffered from bulimia.
Lohan, who is recuperating in a Miami hospital after suffering an asthma
attack, confessed to VF that she began using drugs “a little” while
living with now ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and shooting the Disney
flick “Herbie: Fully Loaded.”
===
AND SHE SHOULD ALLOWED TO BE IN A 'Herbie: Fully Loaded 2' BECAUSE...???!!!
NOW WHENEVER IT ('Herbie: Fully Loaded') AIRS ON TV (DISNEY CHANNEL,
ABC, ETC.), THE PARENTS CAN REMINISCE OF LOHAN'S RAMPANT COCAINE
USE/ABUSE WHILE THE KIDDIES ENJOY THE YUCKS.
===
But she quickly added, “I’ve gotten that out of my system.”
When asked if her drug use included cocaine, her troubled father
Michael’s narcotic of choice, Lindsay back-pedaled: “I don’t want people
to think that I’ve done... you know what I mean? It’s kind of a sore
subject. I’ve lost a family member over it, practically.”
After splitting with the “That ’70’s Show” star and a hospitalization
for a swollen liver and a kidney infection, she said she started “making
herself sick.”
“I was sick,” Lohan said. “Everyone was scared. And I was scared too.”
Lohan told VF that she sought help after NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”
creator Lorne Michaels and head writer Tina Fey sat her down before she
hosted the show in May.
“They said, ‘You need to take care of yourself. We care about you too
much, and we’ve seen too many people do this, and you’re talented,’ and
I just started bawling,” Lohan said. “I knew I had a problem and I
couldn’t admit it.”
She remembers when she watched that “SNL” episode she realized her “arms
were disgusting. I had no arms.”
Lohan’s mother, Dina, insists that her daughter has since fully
recovered, telling the mag: “It happens to people in different periods
of their life. She took it a little too far, maybe, and pulled back
quickly and is fine.”
Vanity Fair’s February issue hits newsstands Tuesday.
