While Denise Richards'>Denise Richards or Heather Locklear haven't talked publicly (I'm
sure Diane Sawyer is on the phone right now) about the back stabbing
yet, Heather Locklear's current boyfriend, David Spade is. He revealed
to US Weekly that Heather is currently nursing her wounds.
Us: What can you tell us about the new budding romance between Denise
Richards and Richie Sambora? How is Heather coping?
DS: All I know is she's home nursing her knife wounds in the back
tonight.
Us: How do you feel about it?
DS: That whole thing - objectively - looks a little rough. But I
think that's the common opinion. Guys you can kind of not trust. But
girls usually cover each other. That's why that makes that rougher
than usual.
I guess he doesn't know women that well after all.
As I've said before, the timing seems very odd for this whole
relationship to have surfaced, but the relationship seems as if it has
been going on for longer than we have thought. Is Denise Richards'>Denise Richards a
coniving, backstabbing bitch? She may be to Heather Locklear. After all
it was Denise who encouraged Heather to divorce her husband Richie
Sambora. Rumor has it, that the two have been going at it for quite
some time; Denise and Richie that is.

If Katie Holmes managed to give birth to TomKitten in silence, in
keeping with the Church of Scientology's teachings, she at least had a
little help - from a painkilling epidural.
Tom Cruise, 43, had earlier said his fianc=E9e could have an epidural if
she needed one, and the 27-year-old actress opted for the shot, People
magazine reported.
"Everything is fine, and Katie can relax now," a source close to
Holmes' family told the magazine.
In fact, Holmes was doing so well that she and new daughter Suri were
home at Cruise's heavily guarded Beverly Hills estate within 24 hours
of the birth Tuesday at St. John's Hospital in Los Angeles.
At least seven satellite trucks and TV crews were camped outside the
estate, hoping for a glimpse of the baby.
Holmes' parents, Martin and Kathy Holmes, were vacationing in Florida
at the time of the birth. A family source told People that Kathy
Holmes, 59, broke into tears of delight when she heard the news.
"We have a sweet baby girl!" Kathy Holmes said.
A spokesman for the couple added, "The baby is happy and healthy. Katie
is doing great. Everything is fantastic."
Baby Suri "has lots of dark hair and big, blue eyes. She's going to be
a beautiful baby," a source close to Holmes' family told People.
"The family is absolutely ecstatic. Everyone's healthy, and we are
extremely happy," one of Holmes' sisters told the Toledo (Ohio) Blade,
the actress' hometown newspaper.
ABC's Diane Sawyer said Cruise sent her an e-mail describing his new
daughter as "glorious" and praising his wife as "an absolute champ."
In a "Primetime" interview that aired April 14, Cruise said Holmes, who
was raised Catholic, had converted to Scientology. The baby will not be
baptized, but will have a "naming ceremony" in the Church of
Scientology. Sources said close family members will be there and the
child will have the equivalent of godparents.
Suri is the first child for former "Dawson's Creek" star Holmes. Cruise
has two other children, Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, adopted during
his marriage to Nicole Kidman.
In announcing the birth, Cruise's rep said the name Suri means
"princess" in Hebrew.

Tom & Katie: 'We're Just Scientologists'
Friday Apr 14, 2006 8:00am EST
By Stephen M. Silverman
Love and marriage are just two of the topics Tom Cruise touches upon
with Diane Sawyer in an interview scheduled to run Friday night on ABC's
Primetime.
But when it comes down to his 27-year-old pregnant fiancιe, the
43-year-old star says, according to excerpts from the Q&A on the ABC Web
site: "We're just a couple that are gonna have a baby and very excited
about it, about this new life."
The child, which is due imminently Cruise has owned up to knowing the
sex but has not revealed it will not have a Catholic baptism, despite
Holmes's having been raised a Catholic, says Cruise. Instead, like him,
the baby and new mother will be Scientologists.
"No," Cruise tells Sawyer. "I mean, you can be Catholic and be a
Scientologist. You can be Jewish and be a Scientologist. But we're just
Scientologists."
Cruise dismisses reports that Holmes's religious parents, Martin and
Kathleen Holmes of Ohio, are annoyed by their daughter's shift in faith.
Instead, he says, he's close with "the whole family" and "absolutely,
yes" they approve of Scientology, which, according to Cruise, provides
"tools to help better your life. That's what Scientology is. It helps
you to improve your life."
As for improving delivery of the baby through the tenets of Scientology,
Cruise confirms that Holmes will adhere to Scientology's practice of
quiet birth described by Cruise as a means to "minimize talk and other
noise inside the delivery room" and "basically just respecting the
mother." Addressing speculation that such a practice would deny Holmes
any pain medication should she require it, Cruise says: "She does what
she's gotta do.
If she needs medicine, she needs medicine."
As for what attracted him to Holmes in the first place, Cruise says:
"Her smile drives me crazy in a good way. She has this thing that she
does with her tongue when she smiles. When she's really laughing when
her tongue sticks out
and it's the cutest thing."
But "when we're riding motorcycles," he says, "I tell her look, please
don't stick your tongue out. If we hit a bump or anything I get a little
bit nervous."
He's also charmed by the fact "she loves cupcakes...she loves to laugh,"
he says.
So, why the delay in walking down the aisle? "We were just talking about
it last night," Cruise says. "She has this beautiful belly, this glowing
woman.
We were walking up to bed, and I just, I can't wait till we get
married. I can't wait till I can call and say, 'Hey, you know, put my
wife on the phone.' "
-
I go to see his movies because they are normally good movies. Outside the
movies I could care less about his sex life, wife, dad, etc.....
Kind of like people who adored Princess Diana as if she found the cancer
cure. She was nothing more than a part time school teacher who happened to
gain publicity by marrying a Prince. I give her credit for her humanitarian
causes and that is about it......

Hell, even if GC wanted to get married, the nasty "It's your duty to be
wed because you're a mega-eligible guy!" grilling he consistently gets
from the likes of Walters and Diane Sawyer would be enough to convince
him otherwise. _What_ is their problem--they seem to be taking his

Disown your dad's denial of the Holocaust, Gibson told
David Nason, New York correspondent
December 08, 2005
A WORLD authority on Hitler's Final Solution has called on Australian
actor-director Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson to publicly repudiate the Holocaust denial of his
father Hutton Gibson and to clarify his own position on the extermination of
the Jews.
Rafael Medoff of the US-based David S. Wyman Institute of Holocaust Studies
issued the ultimatum after the Walt Disney-owned ABC television said a
Gibson company would produce a four-part Holocaust mini-series for the US
network next year.
Tentatively titled Flory, the telemovie will tell the true story of Flory
Van Beek, a Dutch Jew who survived the Holocaust through the bravery of
three Christian families who sheltered her from the Nazis in Holland.
Gibson's Con Artist Productions reportedly clinched the deal with a
breathtaking pitch for a climactic "Braveheart-style" battle scene where
thousands of Jewish and Nazi combatants rush at each other across an open
field.
But Dr Medoff was unimpressed, saying Disney should step in and sack Gibson
if he refuses to fully acknowledge the extent of the Nazi genocide.
"By choosing to inject himself into public discussions of the Holocaust by
his association with this movie, Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson has a moral obligation to come
clean and clearly repudiate his father's statements denying the Holocaust,"
Dr Medoff said.
"If he declines to publicly repudiate Holocaust denial and continues to
maintain that the Holocaust was just one of numerous similar atrocities
during World War II, then Disney and the ABC should reconsider their
arrangements with him."
Adding to the controversy is the memory of Gibson's The Passion of the
Christ, one of last year's top-grossing films but one condemned as
anti-Semitic by many Jewish organisations.
Both the Gibsons were named in the Wyman Institute's 2004 global survey of
Holocaust denial.
Hutton Gibson told New York radio station WSNR the Holocaust was mostly
fiction because the Nazi's never had enough petrol to burn six million Jews.
"They did not have the gas to do it," he said. "That's why they lost the
war." He went on to deny the mass extermination of Poland's Jews, saying
they had "simply got up and left".
"They were all over the Bronx and Brooklyn, and Sydney, Australia, and Los
Angeles," he said.
When asked last year by ABC reporter Diane Sawyer about his father's
statements, Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson'>Mel Gibson replied: "He's my father. Gotta leave it alone,
Diane. Gotta leave it alone."
Asked about his father's religious beliefs and view of the Holocaust in the
March 2004 edition of Reader's Digest, Gibson said: "My dad taught me my
faith, and I believe what he taught me. The man never lied to me in his
life."
Pressed further to go on the record and say the Holocaust happened, Gibson
said: "Yes, of course. Atrocities happened. War is horrible. The Second
World War killed tens of millions of people. Some of them were Jews in
concentration camps. Many people lost their lives. In the Ukraine, several
million starved to death between 1932 and 1933."
Dr Medoff said Gibson was trying to "minimise and blur the Holocaust" by
making it just one of many atrocities of the war.
"This is ridiculous and clearly contrary to the historical record," he said.
"It indicates that he himself has some sort of distorted, troubling view of
the Holocaust."

Far be it from me to disagree with your Tivo, but GMA even reran the
part of the interview when RZ started to cry, and Diane Sawyer'>Diane Sawyer'>Diane Sawyer'>Diane Sawyer pondered
on the reasons for her tears. YVMV. I still think Zellweger enjoys
appearing eccentric and does things to foster that image. (Apparently,
Conan O'Brien's staff-writers agree...)
