And increasingly, it seems, the same slender figure as well.
If these pictures are anything to go by, Kate Winslet appears to have been
sharing more than a few style tips with Keira Knightley.
At 20, Miss Knightley's star is rising rapidly in Hollywood after roles
ranging from Pirates of the Caribbean to Pride and Prejudice.
Miss Winslet, on the other hand, has spoken of turning down parts to spend
as much time as possible with her two young children.
But in a photoshoot for Elle magazine, the 30-year-old actress is back in
business with a glamorous new look. She is also said to be a stone lighter.
She confessed to starving herself because she had to appear naked in her
latest movie, Romance and Cigarettes, which also stars Susan Sarandon and
James Gandolfini.
She plays an 18-year-old lingerie salesgirl who has a passionate affair with
Gandolfini's character.
"You have never seen anything funnier; the make-up trailer was like Extreme
Makeover," she told Elle. "(The part) is something I will never be doing
again. Ever.
"I starved myself for a week. I was completely paranoid about the whole
thing. I've had two kids! And I had to walk across a room naked.
"Obviously I have my fat days and days where I go, 'Oh my God, I've got such
floppy boobs and my bum's too big'. But at the same time I would never try
to really physically change how I'm built to get more work or different
work."
Her flawless looks in the Elle photos could also owe a little to the
airbrusher. Michelle Facey, a make-up artist and digital imaging

Miss Knightley shares Miss Winslet's frank approach to her appearance.
"I don't like my legs," she said recently. 'A good pair of legs on someone
else always makes me jealous. I don't have any tits so I can't show
cleavage. The only part I really like is my stomach. "Airbrushing is sort of
nice because I always get acne, so it's all incredibly nice when they take
it out digitally."

Orlando's Awkward Moment
Good old Orlando Bloom... he's revealed how he isn't quite perfect.
In fact, he's aligned himself with most of his fellow British men by
admitting how dancing makes him feel so uncomfortable.
However, unlike the mild embarrassment of most blokes who might feel the
pressure to dance in a club or at a family wedding - which usually only
happens after a couple of beverages - poor Orlando has revealed how his
red-faced dancing moment was in front of a huge crowd.
Whilst filming Elizabethtown in Kentucky, the poor lad had to perform a
'releasing' jig outdoors.
But because of who he is, it wasn't just a matter of shaming himself in
front of his co-stars - Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon - and the crew...
but the world's media and his fans to boot.
"There was this beautiful yellow bridge over an amazing river. There were a
lot of people there because I guess they knew about the movie and were all
expecting me," he confessed to a fansite.
"I had to do this scene where I had to dance - it's a moment where (my
character) Drew lets go.
"You know when you dance and suddenly feel so liberated like you're
releasing all these shackles that have been holding you? It was that moment.
"It was highly embarrassing because there were paparazzi and people there."

while millions of people are suffering in Sudan. .
The DEAD MAN WALKING star is disgusted by the frivolous content of
magazines, at the expense of stories of the tens of thousands of people
killed in the troubled Darfur region of the African nation. .

an act after all.The director of her latest film has revealed that the
British actress is particularly good at talking dirty.Despite having
starred in such upright dramas as Sense And Sensibility, Jude The
Obscure and Titanic, her new movie, Romance And Cigarettes, is brimming
with dirty talk.
As director John Turturro revealed: "There's dirty language of a
certain kind and there's a real art to that.
"It's really useful in life because everyone can't be sweet and tender
all the time. I compiled a list of things that I thought were
interesting expressions for the film.
"If it was just crude, and not funny, I wouldn't have put it in. We had
to explain some things to Susan Sarandon because she didn't understand
them.
"But Kate Winslet, I have to blame her a little bit. We didn't write
some of the things she put in.
"There were things that had to be cut out that Kate said, that were

She may have the face of an English rose - but Kate Winslet is anything but,
according to the director of her latest film.
The Titanic star is appearing in Romance and Cigarettes, a "down and dirty"
musical love story.
The film features a New York iron worker, played by James Gandolfini, best
known as Tony Soprano in The Sopranos, whose wife (Susan Sarandon) catches
him having a torrid affair.
Winslet, 29, has been cast as the woman he has been having an affair with,
in the latest musical to come out of Hollywood.
The film's director John Turturro today defended the fact that there was
plenty of dirty language in the film.
But he said Winslet, who made her name in period dramas like Sense and
Sensibility and Hamlet, should take much of the blame.
Turturro, who is more well known in front of the camera in films like the
Coen brothers' Barton Fink, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?, said: "It (the
language) was there because it's humorous and fun.
"There's dirty language of a certain kind, and there's a real art to that.
"It's really useful in life, because everyone can't be sweet and tender all
the time. I compiled a list of things that I thought were interesting

account with them. Anyway, she looks great in the picture and, fwiw, my
sister told me that Susan Sarandon is a great mother. My sister worked as a
teacher at a dance studio where SS enrolled her son and my sister was also a
nanny for a child who played with Susan's kids. My sis was impressed with
SS's mothering skills and said she was very kind, supportive, and loving.
