The Tina Fey'>Tina Fey show will have an obnoxious star that the Tina Fey'>Tina Fey
character must struggle to satisfy with her work, making it less like
the real SNL.

One is a comedy and one is a drama. As for the shows both having the
same subject matter, NBC is replying by saying its no different than
Scrubs and ER, which I think is a weak comparison. Scrubs is a parody
of medical dramas, which have been on forever. There hasn't been a long
history of "behind the scenes of sketch shows"shows.

The answer is, "because it's news". People are interested. I'd hate
to go back to the old days when most information about celebrities
was the creation of studio-hired liars. Although, perhaps you'd like
that job.

One might argue that it's her friends and loved ones' business, and
potentially even her employers'. But that would not be my argument.
My argument is simply that it's news.

Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all
other countries because you were born in it. -- George Bernard Shaw
-
Jim,
You asked: "Can someone remind me why anyone gives a crap about this crack
whore?"
My answer was that we should care about her, because God felt that Lindsey
was so important, that He sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ on a cross to pay
for her sins. So that if Lindsey will simply put her trust in what Christ
did for her on the cross, that she will be forgiven of her sins and that she
will have a place in heaven.
In other words, Lindsey mattered to God, just as you matter to God, because
He also gave His Son for you.
Then I continued saying that an article can be written about celebrities
without having to expose their personal battles with drugs. That is
something that Lindsey needs to deal with. I'm an entertainment
correspondent. I have never interviewed Lindsey Lohan. One time I gave her
an award. That's all. But if I did do a story on Lindsey Lohan or any other
celebrity and they revealed to me that they had problems with drugs in the
past, I would never put that in the article. Why would I try to make money
on someone else's problems. I'd rather help them with their problem if I
can. I've been offered a job writing for a gossip magazine and from what I
can tell, it'd pay more than what I currently make, but I turned it down,
even though I know of things that could make me lots of money. It's not
right to be reporting these types of things.
I hope this helped clarify things. If not, please be more specific with your
question and I'd be happy to answer it.
